What We're Working Toward

When it comes to electricity, Texas residents have a choice. By switching to APG&E, you can be assured your plan supports union-built electricity. That's because APG&E purchases union-built solar energy from an affiliated company of SPG Brokerage on a site near Brownwood, Texas. The first phase of solar energy was built with union labor and American-made ground screws and steel racking. Most of the solar panels are USA-made too.

Construction Involves Workers From:

  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers

  • Laborers' International Union of North America

  • International Union of Operating Engineers

APG&E and SPG BROKERAGE

The comprehensive agreement between APG&E and SPG Brokerage covers both the energy consumed by the facility and the energy it produces, keeping the project fully integrated within the Texas retail energy market.
