+ Is a credit check required to sign up?

We run a soft credit check. We run what is considered a soft credit check which will not affect your credit score or your house buying process.

+ Is there a fee for switching from my current provider to APG&E?

No. APG&E does not charge you a switching fee.  Your Utility may charge you a fee if you have requested a particular day for your service to start or if you need priority services. 

+ What are transmission and distribution charges?

Transmission and Distribution Charges sometimes referred to as T&D are the regulated charges originating at the Local Distribution Company (LDC) that owns the poles and wires. Costs for T&D vary from market to market and are established in the local tariff.
